Regional Rehab & Mobility, Bundaberg to Debut a New Name and New Look for the New Year

Local independent living, rehab and mobility equipment specialists, Regional Rehab and Mobility have debuted a new name and fresh new look for the new year. Now part of the AFS Health Services family, who have been providing affordable, quality health services in the CQ region for over 30 years, the new-look Regional Health & Mobility stores will continue to supply the same range products and services the community has come to know and love while focusing on improving the variety and quality of independent living services available in the region.

We know just how much of a difference the right independent living aids can have on the quality of life for someone living with a disability, recovering from surgery, or adjusting to a new illness or injury, however people living in regional areas are often bound by the limited product ranges available in local stores or have to buy online, explains AFS Health Services CEO, Mark Boyd.

Sadly, buying online doesn't give them any opportunity to trial a product to make sure it's the right fit for them or hire something just for the short time they may need it, leaving them at a disadvantage.

Mark says that Regional Health & Mobility are committed to seeing this change, aiming to give locals access to a range of products and services similar that on offer in capital cities while still being able to receive local, community-focused service.

Not only will we be extending the range of products we stock, but we're also focusing on improving our connections with local stakeholders, community members and allied health professionals through different events to ultimately ensure we're offering the best support possible, he explains.

The first of these, an Open Day for community-based health professionals, will be held on Tuesday February 15 and provide an opportunity to browse the new-look store and talk with reps from the stores leading equipment suppliers. A celebratory cake will also be cut to mark the official launch of the new brand.
